Family Denies Rumors in Teen Stabbing Case A spokesperson for Karmelo Anthony, 17, who is charged with fatally stabbing athlete Austin Metcalf on April 2, has denied claims that the two teens knew each other before the incident. Metcalf was stabbed during a dispute over seating at a Frisco, Texas track event and died in his twin brother’s arms. Anthony admitted to the stabbing, claiming self-defense.
